The real-time web dashboard allows users to monitor temperature, humidity, and device status from anywhere.Smart Home IoT adalah sistem monitoring dan kontrol perangkat rumah berbasis ESP32 yang terhubung melalui protokol MQTT. Dashboard web real-time memungkinkan pengguna memantau suhu, kelembaban, dan status perangkat dari mana saja.

GoalTujuan

Build a low-cost, open-source, and extensible smart home system. The main goal is to learn end-to-end IoT communication — from microcontroller firmware to browser display.Membangun sistem rumah pintar yang low-cost, open-source, dan dapat diperluas. Tujuan utamanya adalah mempelajari komunikasi IoT end-to-end — dari firmware mikrokontroler hingga tampilan di browser.

ChallengesTantangan

Synchronizing real-time data between ESP32 and browser without noticeable delay was the main challenge. Additionally, managing MQTT connections that disconnect intermittently on unstable networks required a reliable reconnect mechanism.Sinkronisasi data real-time antara ESP32 dan browser tanpa delay terasa adalah tantangan utama. Selain itu, mengelola koneksi MQTT yang putus-sambung di jaringan tidak stabil memerlukan mekanisme reconnect yang andal.

What I LearnedYang Saya Pelajari

Gained deep understanding of MQTT publish-subscribe architecture, WebSocket management in Flask, and the importance of debouncing and throttling sensors to reduce data noise.Memahami arsitektur publish-subscribe MQTT secara mendalam, pengelolaan WebSocket di Flask, serta pentingnya debouncing dan throttle pada sensor untuk mengurangi noise data.
